Our Story

Hello! We’re Lea and Cassia, real moms and sisters raising young families on the West Coast. Early in this parenting journey, we realized that organizing kid schedules can feel like a full time job. That’s a real challenge for every parent tasked with these duties, but juggling your kids’ busy schedules while working full time (one of us is an interior designer, and one is a nurse) can become a source of constant anxiety.

WIN AT PARENTING BY KEEPING YOUR KIDS ORGANIZED WITH KIDGYSTICS

 

As our kids grew older and the activity options started piling up, we found it overwhelming to figure out which things were worth pursuing. We also realized that our priorities as parents (location, costs, scheduling, carpooling) often conflicted with our kids’ main priority for choosing activities (what their friends are choosing). While venting together was a stress relief, we decided to do something about it. “There should be an App for this!” we thought.

Why hasn’t there been a project management app focused on parents? There are hundreds of platforms available to help people and companies manage their professional responsibilities — and they work. By some accounts, project management software saves the average employee almost 500 hours a year.

Meanwhile, parents are cross-referencing multiple calendars, keeping track of contact info across multiple sources, spending hours combing the internet for details about deadlines, costs, locations, schedules and maybe keeping it all semi-organized in a spreadsheet.

We created KIDGSYSTICS because we wanted to help make parents’ lives easier. It’s that simple. It’s project management for your most important project of all — your kids.
